★ STARDOCK ALPHA — SYSTEM UPDATE ★

Greetings, pilots. A significant systems upgrade has been deployed to the station. The following enhancements are now live:
── TOPIC LIST ──
•Last Reply Info — Each topic now shows who last replied and when.
•Unread Badges — A gold badge shows how many new posts exist in a topic since your last visit.
•Mark All Read — Button at the top of the topic list to clear all unread indicators at once.
•Forum Stats Bar — Total posts, member count, and newest member displayed below the topic list.
•Online Users — See who is currently docked at the station (active within the last 15 minutes).
── POSTS ──
•Post Count — Author post count is now shown in the post header when viewing a full post.
•Signatures — Users can now set a personal signature (up to 500 characters, 5 lines) displayed below every post. BBCode
supported.
── SEARCH ──
•Global Search — Search bar at the top searches all posts, grouped by root topic with match counts.
•Thread Search — When inside a post, the search bar switches to Search this thread... to scope results to that topic.
•Term Highlighting — Search results show a HIT badge on matching topics. Opening a result
highlights the search term throughout the post.
── POSTING TOOLS ──
•BBCode Toolbar — A full toolbar now appears above every message box. Replaces the old cheat sheet popup.
•Color Picker — The COLOR button opens a color picker with an Apply button. Your last chosen color is remembered.
•List Builder — The LIST button now asks: • Bullet or 1. Numbered. Selecting multiple lines of text before
clicking converts each line into its own list item automatically.
•Post Preview — A Preview button now appears on all message forms. See exactly how your BBCode will render before
submitting.
── PROFILE PAGE ──
•A new Profile button in the top bar replaces the old separate settings links.
•Your profile consolidates: Account Info, Change Password, Signature, and Security Questions in one place.
•Changing your security questions now requires your current password for verification.
