Game exploits.
I don't have any good ideas but did wanted to thank you for your attention to it. I was so excited to start day 1 this time around and started colonizing first day, only grabbed about 1000 or so and had to wait for some ore/turns. Came back next morning, barely 8 hours later, and all gone. Now I come online at all hours, even set alarm for 6am my time in hopes to get some colonists, only to find less than a couple hundred, if that. I contemplated throwing in the towel, but decided to keep playing. Im like you, last time I played this game, turns were under 500 or 1000 a day and there was barely any scripts. I don't have any good solutions but I also don't love the idea of a time limit because sometimes I hang out connected hoping to catch some colonists or just observing the game. I wouldnt be opposed to increasing the re-gen rate but not sure what a good rate will be since some race to grab colonists is part of the supply/demand part of the game. How does everyone else feel about increased re-gen rate? And what rate do you think would good?
