Echo VR is Back!
You must view this website on your Quest!
Follow the simple steps below to install and get back into the action.
š„ Instructions
- Download the Echo VR Installer APK
- Download / install Mobile VR Station and launch it.
- Click on Configuration Wizard > Show All Options > Configure Scoped Storage > Step 1: Request Access.
- At the top left, go to the base directory (Quest 2, Quest 3, etc.), then click on Downloads.
- Find echovrinstaller.apk and click on the enlarge zoom_out_map icon, then click Continue, Install, then Open.
š Notes
- If you have multiple accounts on your Quest, you'll have to run the installer on each one.
- This is largely untested, so I'd recommend just removing them if you can.
- If you see an installation popup (see below) asking which app to use:
- Use the suggested app to install the APK (e.g., with ZArchiver, click on the APK in Downloads, then open_in_new Install).
- Uninstall conflicting apps, then restart your headset and try again.
- Factory reset your headsetābackup important files first!
- If you have any issues, visit the support thread and attach screenshots or recordings along with a description of your issue.
